Wedding Photography Portfolio

Out of the many thousands of elopement, vow renewal and wedding photographs I’ve captured in Scotland over the years, I’ve selected a few favourites here.

My wedding photography portfolio is presented in the order of a typical wedding day, in a series of wedding albums, from the morning preparations through to the dancing at night.

There are A LOT of wedding photographs on this page, so it might take a few moments to load! Please rest assured that all my images are pin sharp but have been downsized for the web.

Karen is the best!

Very thorough and attentive to your wishes, extremely professional, and very personal.

You cannot do better!

“Karen made the whole process simple and was an absolute pleasure to work with!

On the day, we were so relaxed and happy with the way Karen worked, and the photos came out beautifully.

We can’t recommend enough.”

Real memories to treasure

When you look back on your wedding photos, you probably won’t want to remember feeling awkward during a photoshoot that felt completely staged! You want images that tell the story of your wedding just as you remember it; real moments for you to cherish. While you want lots of natural images, you’re also keen to avoid double chins and the like! That’s where I step in. I’ll gently guide you but I’ll do it in a way that keeps the experience comfortable and enjoyable, and the pictures true to life.

Natural images of your wedding

Of course, it’s not all about the ‘couple shots’ (although these are the pictures that you’ll want to get framed). The group photos are really important too (more pictures for your mantelpiece!). Again, when it comes to the group shots, I’ll give everyone some advice on how to stand but I’ll ensure that the pictures aren’t too formal. You don’t want people looking uncomfortable or devoid of emotion!

Candid wedding photography

I know you want lots of candid images too, so I’ll be discreetly snapping away in the background throughout the day. The drinks reception and speeches are always a great opportunity for this style of photography.

Capturing all the details

Last but not least, you’ll want to remember all the little details that you put so much time and effort into planning! These things are an important part of your story and I’ll make the the time to capture them.

“Karen did a fantastic job of our wedding.

We found Karen equally approachable and professional, with nothing being too much hassle, which put our minds at ease on our big day.

We genuinely can’t speak highly enough, and we were delighted with our album.”

I hope you enjoyed my wedding photography portfolio and can imagine yourselves in the pictures! Of course, beautiful images and great service are equally important. Please feel free to browse testimonials from just some of the couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.
